The loophole of card-readers rings true of me, too. Predictive reading is often based on a moment of time and the future can change at any moment. Although aspects of what could be on the horizon may come up during a reading, the key focus is to tap into the esoteric energy of the moment and use it to learn more about yourself, or to integrate some shadow. Let's see what the cards are calling you to work on, be aware of, and take into new experiences. They can also be great advice givers...offering gifts from the ether to guide you along; think of them as tough love, at times, too. I do enter it as sacred work, and will use a standard spread, one recommended by the deck's creator, or work with you to design one! I'm not a traditional reader; the pictures of the cards give me the intuitive information you seek, not the exact card meanings. I am always learning new aspects of any of my decks; the longer I use them, the more they reveal. I may sometimes even read the guidebooks and love the experience of connecting my inner knowing to what the card authors wanted most to share about its meaning. I may ask your opinion of things, or to answer some question. I use the cards as a vehicle, with the meanings just being coincidental. Sometimes they bear more weight than not and at times our combined spirit teams prompt me to use different decks. This is a one-of-a-kind experience. Although I can read in-person in my Ballston Spa office, I do have a wider variety of decks at home, so I prefer online readings. Ultimately, the experience is up to you and if you're local to the Captial District of New York, I'm happy to see you in real life. I'll intuitively choose several to work with for your session. I'm using the cards less to predict your future, and as an assist to know yourself more deeply. So, the more you feel comfortable in telling me about what you need guidance with, the more accurate information will come forth. I encourage openness and honesty (and an improvisor is trained to forget almost everything, so don't worry about spilling the T.) Some people, surprisingly, hold back information to the "reader" to prove their legitimacy. Please don't do that; it makes my job much harder. I want to help you, but it involves a bit of co-creation. Let's meet in the middle and have a good time!
